What was the highlight of The Palms, Kamala Beach
Great Size Aparment in a very central location.
We had a 2 bed apartment which was very large and comfortable and had direct swim up access for the pool. The Palms are located directly behind Ana’s Restaurant which is a fantastic location on the Main Street but still quiet. The food in Ana’s is very good we had breakfast and dinner in there and couldn’t fault it.
The only thing was a slight damp smell from the air conditioning but I think this is normal for Thailand due to the high humidity as nearly everywhere we have stayed has had the same issue.

Super value for money
Location was good. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a small fridge and a safe deposit box Bed was comfortable with nice pillows.There is a good restaurant on site, beach is very very close and all necessities are extremely close.....including 7x11, massage parlours, scooter hire restaurants, money exchange and despite that being a quiet and decent place.,. Real value for money.
Not really an issue as one would spend the entire day out but the room looks into a parallel flank of rooms right across the narrow, long pool. There is no elevator available.

Very Good
Rooms are great with lots of space. Beds are comfy but wish we had more pillows. Location is the best thing- no beach views but you are only a few minutes away and loads of food and shops on your doorstep. For the price it’s a good option.
We had a pool access room and we knew it meant it would be a bit noisy and others could see in. This was true. We were directly opposite the restaurant (across the pool) and they played music until it closed at 11. Not an issue for us but something to be aware of.
